This piece was an illustration supposed to go with my "Quick Draw" illustration. The biggest obstacle that I was challenged with was the introduction of another living creature. I ended up using a reference of a horse to get the sizing ratio to a realistic position and then I drew the cowboy on top. The color aesthetic is meant to give a warm feeling while also dry and cold due to the involvement of death.
